Carol Wylde

Vice Chair of Governors

I have been a Governor at the school since my eldest daughter started in Reception in 2005. Although both of my children have moved on to secondary school I am continuing in my role as a governor because I know how important the school is for the community and how important it is that the school have active governors. My background is in teaching and I currently work with schools, supporting leadership, teaching and learning. I enjoy being part of the wider school team, supporting the school to achieve their priorities and working with staff, children and the local community. There is a real mix of people on the Governing Body and everybody brings something different to the team. The governing body needs people with a range of skills. We always welcome feedback from parents and would encourage anybody considering becoming a governor to talk to one of us to find out more.
