GDPR (Data Protection)

One of the biggest changes to data protection law came into effect on the 25th May 2018. The General Data Protection Regulation, known as GDPR, aims to strengthen and standardise the safety and security of all data held within an organisation, reflecting changes in technology and the ways in which employers collect information about data subjects.

It is important to us that you know that we take your data privacy seriously and that of the children at school. To ensure you understand how the school handles your data and how we will meet our GDPR obligations, I have attached some documents for you:

Staff Privacy Notice

Pupil Privacy Notice

Data Protection Policy

DSAR Access Request

Additionally, in the 'Legal Information' at the bottom of the page, our Website Privacy Policy is located as well as our Cookie Policy and Website Disclaimer.

If you have any questions regarding data, please ask the school office in the first instance or follow the guidelines in the Data Protection Policy.

We may notify you of material changes to the Policies and may update them from time to time. The policies will be available here on the school website and you should check them from time to time.
